What is a Network Assessment?

We execute a series of steps to evaluate the readiness of your network for Voice over IP services.

• Consider hardware in network infrastructure; routers, firewalls, LAN switches & cabling.
• Analyze traffic flows in the network to determine if bandwidth issues will arise when VoIP is added to the network.
• Deploy more complex tools like network sniffers, protocol analyzers, synthetic traffic generators & monitors over a day or week.
• Watch and measure how the network reacts when voice traffic is simulated over the network.

The end result can be as simple as a section of the proposal or a detailed several hundred page report documenting everything to bit packet flows.
